Did you know that Main’s Red tide is a completely different animal than the K. Brevis that makes up Florida Red Tide? It’s called Alexandrium Tamarence. It behaves differently, but the effects are just as destructive. Link to this post!

Florida Keys red tide spreads but still “Patchy”
