There are several other Harmful Algal Blooms occuring throught out the world at the moment. All of them are being call red tide butonly some of them are the same species as Florida Red Tide.
- Philippines, species unknown.
- Texas, Karenia Brevis
- Hong Kong, Protopolykrikos distortus
- California, species unknown.
