Be part of something special!
We will beat red tide! The question is, do you want to be one of the nes who want to do it?
We need all kinds of people to do all kinds of tasks. some of them range from, literally sitting on front of your computer browsing the internet for an hour or so once a week.
Of course we have more challanging positions too!

interested in volenteering

I am interested in volunteeering but want to know what the action plan is for this citizens group.
Decades ago, people said that there were no long term effects from tobacco. Red tide is the new tobacco. In addition to the respiratory irritants, what are the long-term neurotoxin effects?
My neighbors are delighted this week that the red tide is “gone!” But the causes of it are not gone. We are just getting a reprieve. It will be back, stronger, longer, and more frequent than before. That’s because the causes are increasing.
So, I spend much time researching this problem and want to join efforts with others that are interested in calling attention to this problem and finding/funding solutions.

Hi! I’m interested in helping because I love our manatees and I hate to see them die from something that might be able to be controlled!
