The scientists said it would happen. I sure can understand why no one wanted to believe it. It seemed to easy to say predictions of a massive and intense red tide bloom were inaccurate when the season started with only sporadic out breaks of red tide. And then – BAM! Tons of very intense red tide blooms. With shellfish harvest closures from Cutler county to the Canadian Border.
We’re rooting for guys up there in Maine!

All I can say is that, whatever happens, me, you and the community should be prepared. This red tide bloom seems to be huge.
I hope the concerned departments will take a look on this one.

There are some unexpected things that can happened just like this but we must be observant and be prepared. Preparedness is very important in this situation and also there must be some responsive actions coming from government department who is responsible for this.
