A Florida rower has installed a camera on the front of his board to capture footage of himself and other surfers being jumped by what is believed to be a spinning shark.
Maximo Trinidad posted video evidence that he had one encounter last Thursday near Corners Beach, which according to locals may have been from encounters with sharks. The YouTube post shows Trinidad’s surfing waves when suddenly an impact occurs between Max and something else as well – another surfer or maybe even some type of marine life because they were close enough to this accident not only who set up his phone while surfing like most people do nowadays. But instead it seemed more personal because you can really clearly see how surprised both people were afterwards before going back.
Trinidad dives back into his board laughing apparently unharmed. “As soon as I saw this big, beautiful animal jumping next to me, it all started in slow motion. The shark was so close – it just felt unreal,” Trinidad told WPTV after the accident. “It was so cold.”
This isn’t Trinidad’s first encounter with a jumping shark – he said that once one of the giant fish jumped close to him from two feet away at eye level.
