A Florida man has been accused of hiding marijuana in his box of chocolates.
Hardy County, Florida – Authorities have received a notice from the US Marshall Service Fugitive Arrest Task Force and have arrested Mario Orosco. During the police investigation, Orosco was standing in front of bags of marijuana.
Officials from the Hardy County Sheriff’s Office came to Orosco’s home at 615 Saunders Street. The authorities were told there was loud music and laughter from inside, but they stopped when they knocked on the door.
Authorities waited at the door for about 30 minutes before letting Janet Orosco into the house.
The authorities found Mario Orosco from his hideout and detained him. What caught the authorities’ attention was the smell of marijuana from the home’s kitchen. Authorities found 17 small bags of marijuana inside the chocolate box after searching.
“We recommend that you give each other chocolate instead of a box of marijuana on Valentine’s Day,” the MPs said.
Representatives declared Orosco a wanted suspect, but the charges against him were not shared.
