The Florida man was blamed after the 87-year-old was found dead in a bed full of live worms.
Allen Arias brought in a woman named Anita Arias, who had maggot-tainted wounds on her body last month, according to Brevard County Representatives.
Authorities found soiled clothes, frozen food, blood stains and faeces on the bed and walls, as well as dementia medication prescribed by Anita Arias, as a result of a home search. According to the research, Anita Arias was staying in a rehabilitation center until December and was otherwise healthy when she was brought home.
As a result of the autopsy of the old woman’s body, it was understood that the cause of death was thirst, emaciation and high blood sugar.
In a statement released by Florida today, the man named Arias was charged with aggravating and killing an elderly person.
