A man who had a search warrant and needed to be arrested wanted to finish his job before he surrendered.
In a statement from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, a 40-year-old man named Jesse Buck left a note on his bed for officers to see. The notto left by Buck said, “I know I’m wanted. I have a job and I’m going to surrender to Volusia
prison branch after I finished my work.”
Police said Jesse Buck is wanted for kidnapping and fatal assault.
A woman opens the door for the police officers who come home to arrest Buck and tells him that Buck isn’t home. As a result of a house search, the man was found in a wooden closet while hiding from the police.
“This guy thinks he can hide from the officers,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staley, “but our officers are very experienced.” We are coming! Our team did a great job and caught Jesse Buck. Buck is now charged with his conduct in Flagler County and Volusia County.”
Jesse Buck has been arrested for shooting and assault in Volusia County and for resisting arrest and possession of a drug supply in Flagler County.
