A Florida man killed his girlfriend’s father.
Polk County, Florida – A Florida man quarreled with his girlfriend’s underage father, officials said. The man shot his girlfriend’s father, killing him.
According to WTSP, a man named Raúl de Alejandro Rodriguez Jr. shot his lover’s father with a gun he took in his hand. The girl’s father was uncomfortable with this relationship because her daughter was not yet old.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said, “This man was a dangerous, violent man who was a drug dealer. He entered his victim’s home, argued with her, pulled her out of her bedroom and killed her.”
Sheriff’s deputies have arrested 31-year-old Rodriguez Jr. in the area where the accident occurred. As a result of the search, an empty beehive was found in his pocket and a beehive in his bag.
According to WTVT, Rodriguez Jr. was a drug dealer and was selling drugs to the victim. This is how they met and fell in love with the victim’s daughter.
Rodriguez Jr. is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, robbery with a handgun, and the murder of a witness.
The name of the victim was not revealed.
