Jensen Beach, Florida (AP) – Authorities say they are looking for a “hamburger” that stole money from two Florida restaurants.
According to a statement from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect entered Wendy’s by smashing a window with bricks. The suspect ran away by taking the cash box from the store after making him a hamburger on the grill. Later, the suspect went to another restaurant in Jensen Beach and escaped with food and money.
The same suspect said he also tried to rob a gas station, but to no avail, officials said.
The sheriff’s office has asked the public for help in arresting a white man in his 30s with a tattoo on his left arm, with the photos posted on Facebook.
