Florida Man Birthday March 5

Fox News reported that a Florida man was arrested at Lehigh Valley International Airport with a grenade and a grenade launcher in his bag.

A barrel, sight, trigger, grenade and severed weapon were found in the bag that was checked by Transportation Security Administration officials after the alarm went off while on watch.

A resident of St. Augustine told officers during interrogation that the rifle was of two versions and that the grenade launcher did not work. The man thought he could carry it with him when the gun was checked in his bag.

The Transportation Security Administration’s website states that duplicate weapons can be carried in taped bags. However, it has been reported that “military” weapons are prohibited from being carried on board aircraft even if they are monitored.

Passengers who violate these laws will be fined up to $13,000. The Florida man will be able to continue his trip to Orlando unarmed and will not pay any fines.

The Transportation Security Administration frequently finds weapons in humans in flight. The guy who went to Arizona last January was traveling with a grenade.

If you want to carry a rocket launcher in your bag during the flight, this does not seem possible.
