A man from Florida went down a 30-foot well and got stuck there
The event was held in the De Leon Springs area of Florida. An interesting incident was reported to the fire station early Wednesday. In Volusia County, a Florida man went down a 30-foot well but was unable to get up. The fire crew, who arrived at the scene, managed to rescue the trapped man.
The accident occurred in a wooded area off Grand Avenue, south of the De Leon Springs area. According to the report about the accident, three young men between the ages of 18 and 20 reached an agreement and applied to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. The three teenagers first mow the grass in the field. Then they went down to the well for bragging.
According to media reports, one of the young men was trapped at the bottom of the well. The other two teenagers tried to save their friend from the well using a rope attached to an SUV. But the efforts of the youth failed. When they couldn’t rescue their friends from the 30-foot well, they called 911.
Early this morning 3 young men were climbing an old well, 35-40 feet deep, outside Deland. The rope broke and fell 1 and could not get out. Thanks to a team effort with Volusia Fire, he was pulled to safety. Rescue provided treatment at the scene for minor abrasions. pic.twitter.com/JCAWBG7ytr

While they were providing information to 911 emergency teams, one of them was suggesting to his friend who was stuck in a well, “Don’t worry, you’re going out.” The person who called 911 said they tried everything with his friend trapped in the well, but they didn’t work.
A firefighting crew who came to the scene rescued the man trapped in the well using ropes. The man remained at the bottom of the well for about an hour. Scott Smoke, Volusia County Rescue Battalion Commander, stated that the man tried to prove he could only get off and back, but failed because he didn’t have enough strength.
The man who was rescued from the well had several cuts and abrasions. The medical teams that came to the scene of the accident did not ignore the implementation of the necessary controls. The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office has expressed its gratitude to the firefighters for saving the man at the bottom of the well.
Scott Smoke, head of the Volusia County Rescue Battalion, stated that people turn to such crazy things because it’s Halloween. He stated that this should not be seen as a joke. Smok said there are many different wells in the area that need to be properly shut down.
