Florida Man December 26 (12/26)

A Florida man has been charged with arson, after police claimed he yelled at the vampire, before setting his house on fire, while the woman was inside.

Melvin Weaver, 64, was arrested by the Daytona Beach Police Department.

On Sunday, around 7:42 p.m., police were called to a house to start a fire without supervision.

The dispatcher informed the police that Weaver had a huge blade and was taking the doors and claiming that the house was on fire and that the victim was in the house.

As the officers arrived at the position, Weaver approached a patrol wagon carrying a large knife. The officers managed to get the knife out of the weaver and handcuffed him.

The officers then called the woman, who explained to the officers that she had been with Weaver for more than 20 years and had been married for 8 years.

The victim had reported earlier the same day Weaver was speaking and then started to get more agitated and called 911 Baker Act.

She said that when officers arrived at the scene, Weaver was in a good state of mind and was unable to become a baker acted. She claimed Weaver seemed to be in a good state of mind even though he tried to let his pet go to the police.

The victim then told her later that day that Weaver had been seen running down the road screaming. After a while I heard his voice shouting, “Vampires will resist.”

As she was going to check on him, he took a wooden stick and hit her and hit her on the forearm.

The victim told the police that Weaver started smashing the windows of the house and then went into her bedroom to undress all night.

As the victim walked out of the room, she shouted at Weaver, “You’re crazy.” According to the police report, the moment Weaver could hear her screaming, he began tearing up the roof insulation.

The victim claimed that he put ceiling insulation on the stove, then cut the stove in half. The kitchen caught fire quickly. Weaver took a large knife and ran out the front door and down the street.

According to the affected person, Weaver takes pain medication for cancer. She is not sure if he has taken any other medication. The victim was not sure if he was taking his painkillers for the day.

WPLG reports that the house was completely destroyed by the fire.

Weaver faces a felony of aggravated battery with a deadly armed weapon and felony of arson in an unoccupied building.

He was transferred by the Volusia County Branch Jail.
