A group domestic worker has been arrested in Florida for letting a person with Down syndrome die in a hot car while she was sleeping in a hot truck. Sherif

On May 9, May 9, a Pinellas Crossroads worker, identified as 26-year-old Joshua Russell, cared for a man with Down syndrome. He then brought the man back to the group’s home when he visited hospitals. After returning from the hospital, Russell chose to stay home and left 35-year-old John Lapointe in the van.

At home, Russell took a bite of the balls. Russell admitted to deputies that he drank the drug for a reason: “to feel less anxious.”

After taking the kratom, Russell got into the truck again and kept going. While returning, Russell felt tired and dizzy. Park the truck on the road, lock the car, and then lie down to sleep.

Then Russell woke up from the hot car, covered in sweat, and was shocked to discover that Lapointe was not breathing.

According to Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, Russell attempted artificial respiration but could not revive Lapointe.

The gunman managed to call his armed mother, telling her he was planning to commit suicide when he realized what he had done. His mother advised Russell not to commit suicide.

His mother called 911, his mother called 911 and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office replied that they were both on 82nd Avenue, which is directly off Oakhurst Road in Seminole.

When the police arrived at the scene, the medical staff had already declared La Pointe dead. Russell left the place on foot and was in a state of fear. When police officers find Russell in his room, he informs the 26-year-old that he is planning to commit suicide.

At the end of the day, the deputies were able to put Russell in custody. Sheriff Gualtieri claimed that the temperature inside the truck at the time of Lapointe’s death was 125 degrees.

“You know that poor guy was baked in that car, and that’s exactly what happened,” Gualtieri said.

Russell is charged with manslaughter against a disabled adult.
